 How to prepare for KSU ... a checklist

1 Year before entering college:
Notify Dr. Maxwell of your interest in music major, minor or other.   [email protected]
Come on campus for a tour and free lesson with Dr. Maxwell.     
Read about the Department of Music online at      www.k-state.edu/music

Apply for admission to Kansas State Univeristy through the homepage at www.k-state.edu.

Attend as many music events on campus as possible! Check with Dr. Maxwell for specific dates.
Music Days (Our term for scholarship audition days.) Typically in January-February.
Concert Band Clinic- end of January.
Bassoon Afternoon- beginning of March.
Any Bassoon Studio Recital, held twice yearly.
Bassoon Studio Class- held weekly on thursdays at 11:30am.
